Git Workflow

This session aims to get you started with using git for your version control, for your own projects and for use with drupal.org.

We'll start with the basics and then go on to look at how to use branching, rebasing, and merging to work more efficiently.

Have you ever...

• been working on a feature or bug, and found another bug, which you can't fix and commit while you're in the middle of work?
• worked on several parts of your codebase simultaneously, and had to mess around moving files around so SVN or CVS only sees the parts you want to commit?
